WHAT IS KIWI COLLECTIVE?
Kiwi Collective Magazine is an arts publication dedicated to uplifting the work of Black, Indigenous and People of Colour (BIPOC) artists of all creative disciplines. Here at Kiwi, we understand the difficulties that creatives of colour face when pursuing opportunities in the publishing industry. Our mission is to minimize these barriers and combat the discrimination that makes the publishing world so inaccessible to BIPOC artists and writers. As a magazine, our vision includes building a community for BIPOC creatives by hosting events and workshops while providing safe spaces for artistic expression on our website and in our zines.
We accept submissions from BIPOC all over the world. With a focus on highlighting artists based in Canada, we prioritize submissions made by Canadian residents.
If you are in a position to do so, please consider supporting our mission to compensate our team and contributors for their time and labour by donating through our shop.
